Scheduled to take place from August 20th to 24th, 2012, the 7th edition of Interplast - National Trade Fair and Congress of Plastic Technology Integration will be held in the Expoville pavillions in Joinville/SC. Considered to be the most important plastics fair in Latin America in 2012, Interplast is a reference for bringing together exhibitors and visitors from over 20 countries, who will share what the most modern and innovative products and services for the plastics segment.

Conducted by the Plastics Trade Association of Santa Catarina (Simpesc) and organized by Messe Brasil, the fair corresponds to an important relationship and business channel for the segment, comprising companies of all sizes at a time of economic growth in this segment. "In order to continuously strengthen the plastics industry, it is necessary to promote growth of the segment demands, reduce the burden on investment, reduce the cost of capital and improve the quality of how taxes are charged. With greater support for research and innovation along with creating excellence in workforce training, the industry can and will grow considerably", says Albano Schmidt, president of Simpesc.

He mentions that Interplast is an event long awaited by the plastics industry because it provides businesses with an excellent opportunity to get closer to their customers, present news, launch products and promote solutions. "The presence in such a major event consolidates the brand and strengthens the company contact with its target audience", he adds.

Strategically held in Joinville, a city conveniently located in one of the major plastic clusters and commercial corridors of Latin America, Interplast facilitates contacts between the professionals and businesses in the plastics field and contributes to the sector’s development. In its last edition, it brought together 500 exhibitors and received 25,000 visitors from 19 countries and 23 Brazilian states. In 2012, in addition to national exhibitors, companies from countries such as Germany, Canada, China, USA and Taiwan have already confirmed their participation in the fair.

Simultaneously held with Interplast, the first edition of EuroMold Brasil - International Trade Fair for Tool Manufacturers & Mold Builders, Design and Product Development - will take place, as well as CINTEC 2012 - Congress of Technological Innovation.
