Romi presents newly released machine series at Plast 2012.Exhibiting the new Sandretto EL and EN series, the company invests heavily in the main international show of the year in Europe. April 11, 2012 — Industrias Romi S.A., the leading Brazilian company in machine tools and plastic processing machines and important manufacturer of rough and machined cast iron, shows five products at Plast 2012, the most important event of the plastic processing industry in Europe. Taking place at Fiera Milano, Milan, Italy from 08 to 12 May 2012, the show happens every three years and has more than 1,400 exhibitors from 45 countries, occupying a total area of 59,714square meters. For this edition the expected attendance is in excess of 50,000 visitors. Romi will be showing machines from the Sandretto line, ranging from 70 to 300 ton of clamping force. They are Sandretto EL 100, Sandretto EL 300, Sandretto EN 70, Sandretto EN 150 and Sandretto EN 200. Their stand will be located in Hall 22 - C16 and D20. According to the CFO, supply chain director, and responsible for the company's subsidiaries, Cassiano Rosolen, "to participate in one of the world’s greatest trade shows in the plastic processing machines sector demonstrates the international consolidation of Romi and Sandretto operations. Today, we provide a distribution network and services ready to meet the most important markets in Europe and globally.” Sandretto EL Line Offers high precision combined with significant reduction of energy consumption and low noise levels. It has fully electric drive, radically changing the concept of plastic injection moulding. It offers energy savings of up to 60%, a clean room environment, low number of moving parts and high energy efficiency, associated with very high precision in movement. Sandretto EN Line Equipped with a pump driven by a servomotor, the machines provide better performance paired with great energy savings. This series is the product of investments in research and innovation, resulting in high-tech machines with the most cost-effective solution, suitable for small and medium parts in applications of up to 450T.
