Meggaplastico launches Borchê Injection Molding Machine with servo motor which saves 80 % energy.

Meggaplástico brings to Interplast one of its most important launches for 2010: the Borchê Injection Machine, BS 200 model, with a servo motor, one of the most modern processing technologies, superior to conventional machines even including other injection machines that operate with a servo motor in the domestic market since it generates energy savings of up to 80%.

Especially recommended for PVC injection, for the manufacture of various types of parts – housewares; containers (water, caps, preforms, etc.); technical parts for the automotive, civil construction, telecommunications and electronics sectors; bottles for cosmetics and toiletries, as well as items for the pharmaceutical industry, the Borchê Injection Machine BS 200 provides clamping force of 200 t.

The excellent results of the Borchê Injection Machine BS line for PVC injection are mainly due to the injection unit that has, with L/D ratio, a compression rate and hydraulic motor especially suitable for this type of injection. Moreover, it includes a closed-loop PID control to manage the barrel’s temperature; fan system for precise temperature controls (with adjustable alarm band of +/- 1° C); injection profile with up to 10 control points; auxiliary hydraulic system on the fixed and mobile platens, freely programmable; and unscrewing hydraulics, end-of-course switches for position control of auxiliary hydraulics, thus ensuring the accuracy of all movements of the mold.

The Borchê Injection Machine BS 200 can work with molds of 180-550 mm in height and with a minimum area of 1430 cm; has an opening stroke of 465 mm; 750 x 750 mm platens; central extractor with force of 49.5 KN; injection speed of 130 to 232 cm3/second and injection capacity of 365 to 650 grams.

Operated by a servo motor, a recognized Borchê patent, the Borchê Injection Machine was developed considering the necessary aspects of greater safety and convenience for the operator. The ergonomic design facilitates the work and front protections and transparent operator door facilitate viewing and monitoring movements. Another feature is that the injection machine has free space below the closing unit to allow the removal of parts from three sides: right, left and rear.

Profile
Meggaplástico began operations in April 2006, fulfilling another step in the Grupo Megga’s strategic planning, which has operated in the machinery and equipment sector since 1991, toward the expansion and specialization of its business, devoting direct service to the plastics industry with lines of hybrid injection molding, hydraulic, vertical, horizontal electric machines, reheating, stretch, PET Preform, blow molding, and extrusion machines. Since that time, Meggaplástico has been growing, supported by a combination which is carried out every day: machines with greater technical resources, effective technical assistance and excellent operational performance of its sales team, ensuring that the positive market response is maintained for the coming years.
