Dow Performance Plastics Showcases Innovation, Value Chain Collaboration At K 2013

October 17, 2013 - The Dow Chemical Company showcases its world class brands, technologies and new innovations from its Performance Plastics franchise at K 2013, the largest global gathering of the plastics and rubber industry taking place in Dusseldorf, Germany, October 16-23.

Using the theme "Solutionism at K", Dow plans to highlight how new levels of innovation and collaboration in key markets and value chains are enabling breakthrough solutions across the plastics industry.

Dow will also showcase its many global growth projects – namely the Company’s joint venture project in Saudi Arabia (Sadara Chemical Company) as well as Dow’s investments on the U.S. Gulf Coast. These investments illustrate Dow’s commitment to helping customers win in many high technology, high growth markets such as transportation, infrastructure, appliances, consumer durables, food packaging, utilities, healthcare and medical, and more.

  • Dow Performance Packaging is one of the world’s largest flexible and rigid plastic packaging franchises for the food and beverage market, as well as industrial and consumer packaging sectors.

Other planned promotions include demonstrations on leading machine manufacturers’ lines throughout the show, allowing customers to see the latest processing and performance advantages of Dow’s next generation products first-hand and up close.

Dow is also hosting a series of technical presentations at its exhibit on the show floor, with technical and marketing experts speaking on topics including: sustainability, product application performance, market trends, and packaging design, among others.

Dow is participating at K 2013 at stand K48 in Hall 8a, near the north entrance of the Messe Dusseldorf trade fair site.
