License agreement to deploy Syensqo’s DDF technology and jointly qualify innovative materials for OEM part production

July 2, 2026 - Syensqo, a global supplier of materials and chemical solutions, has announced a partnership with Bucci Composites, a designer and manufacturer of structural composite parts, including a license for Syensqo’s Double Diaphragm Forming (DDF) technology. The collaboration aims to advance automotive composite manufacturing and to jointly qualify innovative material solutions with key OEMs.

DDF is Syensqo’s composite forming technology. The supplier claims it enables a highly automated, single-step process that delivers high-quality, repeatable parts with significantly reduced cycle times. Syensqo says the technology helps reduce total cost of ownership by simplifying logistics, improving part accuracy, and optimizing capital investment through integration with existing manufacturing infrastructure.

Building on decades of collaboration between the two companies, Bucci Composites now combines its expertise in composite manufacturing with DDF technology to qualify Syensqo’s innovative resin systems tailored for automotive applications.
