July, 24, 2025 – Domo Chemicals, a leading supplier of polyamide materials, has announced the publication of its 2024 Sustainability Report, showcasing progress toward its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.

In a year shaped by continued transformation across the chemical industry, Domo achieved EcoVadis Platinum status, ranking among the top 1% of rated companies worldwide, the company says. It also reported a 26% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from its 2019 baseline, reaffirming its position on track to reach its 40% reduction target by 2030.

“At Domo, sustainability is more than a goal – it’s a mindset,” said Yves Bonte, CEO of Domo Chemicals. “From reducing CO₂ emissions to expanding our circular product portfolio, we are turning ambition into action. Together, we are creating more sustainable solutions for mobility, electronics, consumer goods, textiles and packaging.”

Domo informed its Key 2024 achievements:

  • EcoVadis Platinum Medal – awarded for its performance across Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
  • 10% of Engineered Materials sales from circular and bio-based materials, with full ISCC+ certification achieved at four sites.
  • 21% renewable electricity use, up from 18% in 2023 - a threefold increase from 2021.

Collaboration, innovation and responsible growth

Domo expanded its portfolio of certified sustainable polyamides, including Technyl 4Earth based on recycled materials such as end-of-life fishing nets, developed in partnership with the Sea2see Foundation. Strategic progress in International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC+) at four major sites (Arco, Leuna, Haiyan and Gorzow) enables Domo to offer a broader range of traceable, low-carbon, mass-balanced Domamid MBB (Mass-Balanced Biocircular) solutions to its global customer base.

Domo says that health, safety, and well-being remain core to its identity. In 2024, the company introduced the RSTAR (Recognize, Stop, Think, Act, Report) safety campaign while its global safety survey reported improvement by 9.4 percentage points. 29% of Domo´s management roles are now held by women, moving toward its 35% target by 2030.

According to Domo, the 2024 Sustainability Report sets the foundation for its continuous improvement in sustainable growth during the transition toward circular polyamides.
