PiovanGroup will display innovations for plastics processing automation at PLAST 2026
May, 29, 2026 - PiovanGroup, a leading developer and manufacturer of automation systems for the storage, transport, and processing of polymers, bio-resins, recycled polymers, food liquids, and powders will be present at the 20th edition of PLAST 2026, the international trade fair dedicated to the plastics industry, scheduled for June 9–12, 2026, at Fiera Milano, Rho. At stand C81-C91, hall 24, PiovanGroup with its brands Piovan, Doteco, Pelletron and Thermal Care, will exhibit its latest technological innovations for process automation, suitable for all major application sectors: PET & rPET preforms and bottles, rigid packaging, automotive components, technical products, medical devices, technical and thermoforming sheets, flexible film, tubes, profiles and cables, fiber and strapping, recycling, and compounds. Piovan says the following technologies will be on display:
SmartForesight, a predictive maintenance solution which uses intelligent remote monitoring technology - it will be presented for the first time in Milan. With real-time notifications, customized reports, and direct technical support, the solution developed by Piovan continuously analyzes data from GN, GP, and GMP dryers. Thanks to SmartForesight’s configurable monitoring features, it allows for predictive control and surveillance, adaptable to specific customer needs and the operational reality of each plant, Piovan claims. Under the Doteco brand, Blendo Adroit will be on display. According to Piovan, it is a gravimetric loss-in-weight feeder designed for production requiring high precision even at low flow rates. Designed for easy installation on the extruder feed inlet to replace the conventional loading hopper or for mezzanine installation, it is available for 2 to 6 ingredients and with maximum flow rates of up to 200, 400, 800, and 1300 kg/h. Pelletron, the Group company specializing in the production of conveying and dust collection solutions for plastics, will showcase the C20 Deduster, a compact dust collector designed to remove dust, filaments, or angel hair. Piovan Group says the solution is particularly well-suited for the production of lenses and semi-transparent or transparent components that require special attention to aesthetics. The C20’s design facilitates retrofitting, making the dust collector ideal for both injection molding and extrusion processes, the company says. Thermal Care, the group’s brand specializing in industrial cooling, will introduce NQA to the Italian market for the first time. According to Piovan Group, it is an energy-efficient chiller featuring scroll compressors, compact micro-channel condensers and a PLC control system with a touchscreen, designed to ensure precise temperature control, and ease of use in a compact, all-in-one design. "Integrating Global Innovation": integrated technology for the plastics industry The theme guiding the Group’s presence at Plast is “Integrating Global Innovation,” a vision already presented at the K 2025 trade show in Düsseldorf. The main ideas behind the PiovanGroup guiding theme at Plast 2026 are the integration of technologies and services directly into production processes to reduce cycle times, energy consumption, and errors, while ensuring high quality standards even with increasingly complex materials. “Participating in Plast represents a special opportunity for us to meet with customers from the Italian and European markets,” says Paolo Nicosia, Group Managing Director of Sales Subsidiaries at PiovanGroup. “It is a concrete opportunity to be close to our customers, present our latest technological innovations, and highlight our ability to support the customer at every stage: from design through to installation and plant commissioning, thanks to an extensive network with 18 production facilities, over 40 service and sales branches, and 390 technicians dedicated to technical support worldwide.”
