Technologies for Management and Automation to be Displayed at Interplast 2026 in Joinville in August

May, 11, 2026 - Interplast – the Plastics Technology Integration Fair and Congress, promoted by Messe Brasil, which will be held from August 25 to 28, 2026, in Joinville, Brazil, is consolidating itself as one of the main platforms for display of solutions in industrial management and automation focused on plastics conversion. In this edition, exhibiting companies will highlight technologies that answer to the real challenges of the sector, such as process integration, increased production efficiency, data reliability, and strategic decision-making, emphasizing Interplast’s role as a showcase of innovation and competitiveness for the industry.

Lack of predictability in production, manual data entry subject to error, difficult calculations of reliable OEE, and areas that do not communicate with each other - these are problems well known to much of the plastics processing industries. Projedata will bring to Interplast a portfolio of solutions developed specifically to face these challenges, integrating management, planning, and industrial automation into a single platform. The company has built an ecosystem consisting of four systems that communicate with each other: the Iniflex ERP (industrial and administrative management), Autoflex (MES for shop floor monitoring), Iniflex.APS (advanced production planning), and Iniflex.BI (data intelligence for managerial decision-making). Each of them operates at a specific layer of the operation, and the integration between them eliminates re-entry work, data inconsistency, and information delays, Projedata claims.

Automata will highlight its complete solution for production cells, developed to increase the performance, efficiency, and operational intelligence on the shop floor, the company says. The solution was designed to meet the actual demands of plastic processors, combining automation, precision, and connectivity. The goal is to reduce setup times, optimize production cycles, and ensure high repeatability, allowing industries to reach new levels of competitiveness, predictability, and process control. The approach integrates hardware and software into a single system capable of synchronizing all stages of production. The purpose is to offer a ready-to-operate production unit where each component of the production cell works in a coordinated manner, ensuring continuous flow, operational stability, and data-driven decision-making.

Digitrol will bring to Interplast Dynisco´s solutions for process control which provide accurate and reliable information allowing for real-time validation of process parameters and, when necessary, immediate adjustments, Digitrol says. This ensures that manufactured products meet or exceed established technical specifications, reducing risks, rework, and waste. Of particular note are Dynisco’s pressure and temperature sensors, developed for applications in polymer extrusion and injection molding. The manufacturer claims that they stand out for high precision, excellent repeatability, and robust construction, designed to operate under high temperatures and extreme pressures. According to Digitrol, even in severe conditions, the sensors maintain measurement stability and a long service life, ensuring continuous reliability in the production process.

Management and Automation

Octagon will launch SmartLip ONE TL FFS, a solution developed to meet demanding requirements of form-fill-seal applications, expanding the productive potential of blown film extruders and improving the quality standard of plastic film, the supplier says. Recognized for its technology for measuring and controlling plastic films, the company will demonstrate how automation and advanced engineering can transform extrusion processes. The launch of the SmartLip ONE TL FFS strengthen Octagon’s commitment to develop solutions capable of combining high performance, process stability, and operational efficiency, the company claims. The extrusion of plastic films for FFS applications requires rigorous control of variables such as thickness, blown film stability, film uniformity, and productivity. In this context, the SmartLip ONE TL FFS is a technological response to the needs of manufacturers seeking higher competitiveness, waste reduction, and increased efficiency in their production lines, Octagon says.

With over 25 years of experience in the development of parts and equipment for flexographic printing machines, Laserflex will present innovations for the packaging industry during Interplast. Among the highlights do be displayed at the exhibition are the anilox sleeves and cylinders produced by the company, which are parts responsible for controlling ink transfer in the printing process. According to the supplier, these components ensure uniformity, precision, and high quality of printed packaging. Laserflex anilox rollers are engraved with Cobracell technology, a technology which stands out for the special shape of the cells engraved on the cylinder, allowing for more efficient and uniform ink transfer. With this optimized shape, the cells can transport and release the ideal amount of ink during printing, providing greater coverage, better image definition, and more consistent colors, the company says.

G4 Máquinas will present its innovations in flexographic printers, laminators, and rewinders during Interplast. Solutions are geared towards the production of flexible packaging used in automated packaging systems and high-performance applications which demand maximum protection against contamination and prolonged product preservation, such as pet food packaging. G4 Máquinas says its solutions are designed to operate with efficiency, precision, and reliability, integrating advanced technology with a robust mechanical construction. The company claims that its equipments are capable of delivering process repeatability, high productivity, and consistent quality.
