May, 5, 2026 - Chinaplas 2026 successfully concluded at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Hongqiao, Shanghai, PR China, on Apr 24. According to the organizers, the four-day exhibition attracted 350,189 visitors, marking a significant increase of 24.53% compared to the previous edition in Shenzhen. The record-breaking results set new benchmarks for global plastics and rubber industries, reinforcing its role as a global platform connecting upstream and downstream sectors across the plastics and rubber industrial chain.
Adsale, the promoter of the exhibition, said that 86,440 of them (accounting for 24.68%) were from overseas countries and Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan region of China, representing a notable increase of 26.11% compared to the previous edition in Shenzhen, demonstrating a robust growth of international participation in the exhibition.
At the same time, the exhibition also saw active participation from industry associations, trade delegations, and leading enterprises from around the world, further strengthening international collaboration. Delegation visits and business matching sessions created meaningful opportunities for cross-border partnerships and sourcing.
Spanning over 390,000 square meters, Chinaplas 2026 brought together more than 5,000 exhibitors from over 40 countries and regions, showcasing cutting-edge technologies, advanced materials, and intelligent manufacturing solutions across the entire industry value chain.
Chinaplas 2026 featured a comprehensive showcase ranging from raw materials and chemicals to advanced machinery and smart manufacturing technologies. Over 3,800 machines were demonstrated live, while more than 1,900 raw material suppliers presented innovative solutions tailored to diverse applications.
The exhibition also highlighted over 350 global and Asian debut technologies, reinforcing its role as a launchpad for industry breakthroughs. Leading multinational corporations, Fortune Global 500 companies, and China’s top enterprises participated alongside more than 1,000 “Specialized and Niche” companies, including nearly 200 recognized as national “Little Giants” for their technological expertise.
Chinaplas 2026 has featured a series of professional concurrent events, including forums, technical seminars, and networking sessions, which provided valuable insights into market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging applications, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Next year, Chinaplas 2027 will take place from April 13 to 16 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'An), PR China. Under the theme of "Advancing a Smarter, Circular Future - As One", the exhibition will continue to provide a platform for businesses to explore new opportunities and shape the future of plastics and rubber industries.
