Chambroad to Showcase "Specialization and Innovation" at Chinaplas 2026, Redefining Industrial Upgrading through Green Solutions

April 21, 2026 – Chambroad Holding Group is set to make an impact at Chinaplas 2026 (Booth 6.2A02) under the theme "Innovation for Green Plastics Solutions." Aligning with its core strategy of "Specialization and Innovation," the company will demonstrate its comprehensive capabilities—from upstream R&D to downstream industrial application—across three strategic pillars: High-end Development, Green Initiatives and Intelligence. Robert Wang, Rotating President and President of Overseas Business of Chambroad, noted that industrial competition is shifting from sheer scale to technical barriers and ecosystem synergy. "Companies capable of driving innovation while integrating the entire value chain will lead the future industrial landscape," Wang stated.

Scenario-Driven Material Innovation

The trend of "material-defined application scenarios" is accelerating, with high-performance materials tailored for advanced equipment and green energy becoming the new benchmark for competitiveness. Chambroad is actively targeting strategic sectors such as the low-altitude economy and new energy, utilizing material breakthroughs to achieve deep value integration with downstream applications. At this year’s exhibition, several Chambroad subsidiaries are launching innovative products and solutions:

  • Chambroad Polyolefin introduces new high-end polypropylene (PP) solutions. RP242G (rigid packaging) is a high-transparency, low-odor PP grade developed for food-contact applications, offering improved processing efficiency and dimensional stability under stringent regulatory standards. EP640V (automotive), an impact copolymer with a melt flow rate of 105 g/10 min, is engineered for large, thin-wall automotive parts. The material enables reduced injection pressure and shorter cycle times while maintaining stiffness. The EPP, produced via a supercritical CO2 physical foaming process, targets cold-chain insulation and sports equipment, combining low odor, thermal insulation and impact resistance. Additionally, the medical-grade RP348P is designed for applications such as syringes, ensures high biocompatibility, low extractables and resistance to steam and ethylene oxide sterilization, as well as improved durability under low-temperature logistics conditions.
  • Jufang New Materials unveils two domestically produced para-aramid solutions. With diameters of 10–100 nm and high aspect ratios (>3000), para-aramid nanofibers are designed for composite reinforcement and battery separator applications. Its thermal resistance of up to 400°C addresses safety challenges such as thermal runaway. Another new product is the lightweight para-aramid paper, approximately 20% lighter than conventional meta-aramid products, offers higher specific strength and enhanced flame-retardant and insulation properties for aerospace, rail and emerging low-altitude mobility sectors.
  • Additional new materials on display from Chambroad Timber include flame-retardant cladding meeting Euro Class B-s1, d0 standards, and laminated wood for cryogenic cargo containment components in shipping industry, designed to provide thermal insulation, vibration damping and structural stability under extreme conditions.
  • In energy storage, Chambroad Sinopoly introduces a hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR)-based dispersant for lithium-ion battery slurries. The additive improves dispersion of conductive agents such as carbon nanotubes (CNTs), enhancing slurry uniformity, charge transfer efficiency and cycle performance.

Circular Materials and Chemical Recycling

Chambroad is expanding its circular materials portfolio through both bio-based and recycled feedstocks.

  • The company reported progress in bio-based itaconate rubber, produced from agricultural residues such as corn cobs and straw, as well as waste tires. The material is positioned for applications in tires, footwear, wind power and battery-related uses, with an estimated carbon reduction of approximately 1.4 tonnes CO₂per tonne of product.
  • In polyolefins, the company is advancing chemical recycling of polypropylene, converting post-consumer waste into virgin-grade resins suitable for demanding applications such as food packaging and automotive components.
  • The company is also promoting a bio-modified fast-growing timber composite for use in construction, marine and energy infrastructure, positioning it as an alternative to traditional materials with improved sustainability metrics.

Intelligence-Driven Transformation

Chambroad is leveraging digital and intelligent transformation as a core engine to build an end-to-end smart system spanning R&D, commercialization and integrated industrial operations, driving the shift from traditional manufacturing toward a more connected and intelligent industrial ecosystem.

Under its AI-driven R&D framework, the company combines data platforms, automated laboratories and simulation tools to accelerate formulation design and performance optimization. It also leads the development of Green Chemical and New Materials Pilot Platform, one of China’s first national-level manufacturing pilot platforms. The company is currently advancing AI-enabled systems to streamline the transition from pilot testing to industrialization. Moving beyond the silos of traditional R&D, its Green Innovation Platform bridges the gap between research and market demand, accelerating technology commercialization and industrial upgrading. By establishing a new intelligent manufacturing model that integrates digital and physical systems, Chambroad has built a multidimensional smart manufacturing environment characterized by interconnected equipment and seamless data flows, enabling production and operations driven by intelligent forecasting and real-time optimization.

Chambroad is strengthening its position in high-end, sustainable and smart manufacturing through advances in materials, circular solutions and digital capabilities. The company is working with global partners to help shift the plastics and chemicals industry from volume-driven growth toward higher-value, performance-based development.

Chambroad (https://solutions.chambroad.com) started as a subsidiary factory of a local vocational school in 1991. Now it has evolved into a diversified industrial group jointly funded by social welfare and charitable organization and professional managers. Focusing on segments of high performance materials, high-value-added chemicals, intelligent manufacturing equipment and integrated industrial service solutions, the company operates in over 50 countries and regions worldwide with eight R&D bases and 13 innovation collaboration centers. In 2025, it ranked 254th on 2025 China Top 500 Enterprises List, reaching 110.8 billion yuan in revenue.
