
March, 12, 2026 - From 30 March to 1 April plast & printpack alger will already be held in Algiers for the tenth time now. Over 280 exhibitors from 22 countries have confirmed their participation at the Palais des Expositions – SAFEX. The event is organised by fairtrade in cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf.

Current industry figures evidence the investment dynamics in Algeria: the imports of plastics technology rose on average by an annual 34.6% between 2020 and 2024, making Algeria the biggest importer of plastics technology in Africa at present.
The country also plays a leading role in packaging technology on the continent boasting imports worth EUR 225 million. Also posting growth are the segments plastic pipes as well as print and paper technologies.
