Syensqo showcases its specialty polymers portfolio at K 2025September 16, 2025 - Syensqo, a global leader in specialty polymers and advanced materials, will make its first appearance at K 2025 - the world’s leading plastics and rubber trade fair - under its new name, following its spin-off from Solvay in December 2023. Building on a legacy of over 160 years of scientific exploration, Syensqo will showcase innovations addressing global megatrends at Booth C61 Hall 6, from October 8th to 15th in Düsseldorf, Germany. “Syensqo was founded on the belief that science can transform industries and improve lives. At K 2025, we will demonstrate how advanced materials and specialty chemicals unlock new possibilities for customers worldwide”, commented Peter Browning, President of Syensqo’s Specialty Polymers business. “Syensqo’s global presence and technical know-how enables us to partner closely with customers, delivering sustainable solutions that drive innovation, improve performance, and support their transition to a low-carbon future”, he adds. Value-added solutions At K 2025, Syensqo will highlight solutions for four megatrends: powering electrification, advancing digitalization, enriching life and extending lifetime. Applications span e-motors, compressors, healthcare implants, bikes, semiconductors, electronic components for consumer devices, advanced components for hydrogen technologies and a hydrogen-powered plane model. Syensqo’s polymers, including Amodel, Ryton, Radel, Udel, Ixef, Solef, Kalix, Tecnoflon, Aquivion, KetaSpire and its advanced formulations such as CYANOX, CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS, Addibond and Rhodiasolv green solvents, will be in the spotlight during K 2025. The company emphasizes that its global customer innovation centers enable rapid product customization and prototyping, supporting the customers' fast development cycles. Global presence With 62 industrial sites and 12 research and innovation centers worldwide, Syensqo has recently made investments in North America, Europe, and Asia. According to the company, these investments reflect Syensqo´s dedication to being a trusted partner in every region. Syensqo plans to achieve carbon neutrality (Scope 1 & 2) by 2040[1] and a 23% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2030. The company’s ECHO portfolio of bio-based and recycled polymers is supporting Syensqo ambition to reach 18% of circular sales by 2030. Major investments in Spinetta are driving emissions reduction and clean energy transition. As the main technology partner for Climate Impulse, Syensqo claims to be enabling the world’s first non-stop, zero-emission flight around the globe in a green hydrogen-powered aircraft by 2028. A 3D-scale model of this aircraft will be on display at the Syensqo booth.
