Injequaly Brazil adds 800-ton press to its facilities allowing for production of heavier parts

Viking Plastics partner continues expansion to meet appliance industry demand

April 14, 2020 - Injequaly Industria LTDA, a Brazil-based injection molding company, has added a Haitian SA 800-ton injection molding machine to their 18,500 square foot manufacturing plant in São Paulo.

Adding the 800-ton press brings Injequaly up to 18 presses ranging from 60-ton to 800-ton. The new addition will further increase high volume production capabilities for customers in the home appliance industry. With the additional press in Injequaly, and more new presses being added in our Indiana facilities, Viking Plastics now has over 120 presses globally.

“We’re very excited because the Haitian press provides huge 800-ton capacity,” said Fernando Esteves, Director of Development for Injequaly Industria LTDA. “This will allow us to meet growing demand by producing larger parts weighing up to 5 kg for customers in the appliance industry.”

Injequaly also announced plans to expand its warehouse capacity in the near future.

Founded in 2003, Injequaly Industria LTDA is a partner of Viking Plastics in Corry, Pennsylvania USA. Injequaly molds tight-tolerance products for automotive, consumer and industrial markets. The company is ISO 9002 certified and is working toward ISO 14001 certification in 2020.
